I had an appointment with Dr. Haywood yesterday morning. The appointment began with an x-ray and then an examination by Dr. Haywood. According to him, the x-ray looked good. After poking, prodding and rotating my knee, he said that I have quad tendonitis.

He wants me to begin physical therapy. I am supposed to go twice a week for six weeks. The office gave ne a few places they reccomended for PT and I decided to goto Fort Lowell Physical Therapy. They didn't have an appointment until early July, when Irene and I will be in Colorado, but I got a call yesterday that they had a cencelation for Monday. 

 I'm hopeful that the physical therapists can develop a plan that can get me back in the saddle full time.
